United Way Celebrates 30 years in the Community!
“I offer my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on your commitment to changing the communities in which we live…for the better,” she continued. Dr. Abray-Nyman has just completed her first year as President and CEO of United Way Canada and spoke about some of the future direction the United Way movement will be taking. She also spoke to attendees about one of United Way’s three focus areas: All that Kids Can Be. She explained that investing in the resilience of children and youth is not only the right thing to do – it is an investment for a collective future.
“The future of our organization is very bright. It is an exciting time of new growth! We are so pleased to have Jacline here to help us celebrate 30 years and to speak to our members, board, staff and volunteers about the growth of the United Way movement,” said Michael Cullen, executive director of United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts.
